Once Barry began
playing, instantly, an angelic sound came out
of Trina's mouth and grew into a beautiful wave
of vibration and pure sound. "I knew that
I could hit high notes," said Trina, "but
I've never before hit notes with such dynamic
vibration behind them that connect straight to
your heart." After their collaboration, Trina
took the tape they recorded and lengthened it
to 45 minutes. She listened to it that night,
and for the first time in years, she slept. She
was thrilled to find that the music healed her
sleeping problem, a problem which dated back to
her childhood. A week later, Trina had lunch with
a friend and noticed her seven-year-old daughter
had dark circles under her eyes. When she inquired
about the little girl's appearance, her friend
revealed that her daughter had been sexually abused
by her uncle and since then, could not sleep at
night. Trina happened to have carried a tape of
her music, and gave it to her friend. She called
Trina a few days later to say that her daughter
not only sings with it before her bedtime, but
she sleeps peacefully throughout the entire night.
"I knew at that moment that this was my journey
in life," said Trina, "My goal is to
help all children and adolescents to find peace
and light in their lives."
Later,
while Trina was in the studio working on the music,
an elderly man named Mr. Pughs and his wife just
happened to be passing by, when he stopped and
introduced himself to Trina. He was holding his
chest in disbelief. He told Trina that he had
recently had a heart attack and almost died, and
during that experience, as he was leaving his
body, he heard angelic tones at the same "vibration
of sound" as the voice of Trina's tones.
